Located in Carmel Mountain, Zen Modern Asian Bistro is the cultivation of a family's love for sharing their passion for cooking. Established in April 2016, Zen Modern Asian Bistro strives to bring innovative fusion foods alongside traditional Asian cuisine, especially authentic Taiwanese to bring the best of both worlds to your table. Hailing from Taiwan, our head chef Henry Yang has spent over 40 years in culinary pursuits. He has honed his craft with time spent in Thailand as well as provinces ranging across China and its major culinary hubs. Some of his noteworthy achievements include the wildly successful Mr. Charlie's Fortune Cookie.
